Today I am going to share how I solved my windows 8.1 black screen problem. This has solved my problem, But I can't assure anybody that this will solve your problem. Do at your own responsibility.
The problem is after signing in to your account in windows 8.1 you get the blank or black screen. There are two solutions for this problems.
1. Update your video driver to latest version.
If this doesn't solve your problem then follow these steps. I have assumed windows 8.1 is installed in C drive. If not do all these operations where you have installed Windows 8.1
*If you don't have any Linux OS installed follow these steps.
After getting this open Task manager. If you get error regarding Windows.UI.immersive.dll then follow the below steps carefully to solve the problem.
1. Download this file to your computer and decompress it.
2. Double click on InstallTakeOwnership.reg and hit Yes twice.
3. Now Right click on System32 folder and Take ownership.
4. Goto "C:\Windows\WinSxS" and search for Windows.UI.Immersive.dll and copy the Windows.UI.Immersive.dll file with larger size and paste it in System32 folder. Replace the file if it asks.
5. Now open the folder options and tick Show hidden folders and uncheck "Hide protected Operating system files".
6. Goto "C" drive Right click on folder "Windows Activation Technologies" and Take ownership. Rename the folder to anything you want.
7. Double click on RemoveTakeOwnership.reg and hit Yes twice.
8. Restart your pc and see Windows 8.1 up and running.
*If you have any Linux operating system installed then boot into that OS and follow these steps.
1. Goto "C:\Windows\WinSxS" and search for Windows.UI.Immersive.dll and copy the Windows.UI.Immersive.dll file with larger size and paste it in System32 folder. Replace the file if it asks.
2. Goto "C" drive Right click on folder "Windows Activation Technologies" and rename it to anything you want.
3. Restart your pc and see Windows 8.1 up and running.
